Well, I USED to play with Barbies and my American Girl doll... but after that I had NO interest in dolls until I found out about BJDs. 3. How many SD dolls do you have? Six now... 4. What is the name(s) of your doll(s)? Taizo, Kiyoharu, Maguro, Unagi (Nana), Owen, and a Secret One! 5. What type of SD do you have? CP CHIWOO, CP SHIWOO, CP Human Juri (boy), SOOM Dimo, DOllShe Bernard, and another Secret. 6. Do you believe in Fate? Yes...? 7. Who is the manufacturer of your doll(s)? Cerberus Project (LUTS), SOOM, DollShe, and a "Secret." 8. What was your first reaction when you saw your SD for the first time? I think I almost cried... and for just a moment I thought the only SD I'd EVER need was sitting right in front of me. Boy have things changed. x] 9. Have you shown your doll off at a Doll Show? Not yet. But it sounds like a lot of fun. 10. Which do you prefer? Commercial SDs (such as Kyon customed dolls) or Customizing your own SD? I absolutely LOVE doing work on my dolls myself. 11. How do you feel about Commercial SDs? Personally, I think it depends on the manufacturer. Some are incredible, but others take some personal customizing to love. 12. Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)? Yep! You can read all about them on the profile page. 13. What type of relationship do you have with your doll (eg. beloved daughter, friend)? They're definitely friends... or maybe annoying roommates sometimes? Definitely not "children." I always end up calling them my "Misfits" or "Midgets" though. ;] 14. Does your SD have a nickname? Tons. Just check their profiles. :P 15. What special meaning does your doll's name have? The human Taizo is actually one of heath's (ex X Japan) guitarists. heath is my idol, one my most favorite guys in the world. I saw him LIVE at La.mama in Shibuya and it was the best night of my life. That's where I first met Taizo too. I actually fell in love with the name Taizo; it was a very unique name. I didn't base Taizo off of anyone, I gave him a name that I just loved so it wouldn't constrain him or his personality. Kiyoharu was named after one of my favorite J-rockers, Kiyoharu, the vocalist of Kuroyume and SADS. Unagi was named because Unagi (eel) is my favorite food! and Maguro was named after the cali=gari song... together Unagi and Maguro are The Sushi Brothers. Maguro was named after the cali≠gari song, Maguro. So he's in a way, based loosely off Ishii Shuuji and Ao from cali≠gari. Maguro actually means tuna, by the way, so he coincides with his brother, Unagi, as they are both named atfer types of sushi. Owen... is just named after my most favorite boy's name ever. But his middle name was coined off of Tom Keifer of Cinderella. and his last name? Well, he's just a Ramone, for god's sake! 16. Does your SD have a special seat/place in your room? If so, where? They have a couch and chairs to sit on my desk. 17. Did you buy a chair specifically for your SD? No, a really nice person at Otakon '05 gave one to me. Oh! and my dad bought be thing bling-bling doll couch for X-mas. It's pretty ghetto. haha 18. Does your SD have accessories of his own? (eg. pets, toys, hairbrush) Of course... a shit load. D: 19. What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll? These shoes. I have the SAME pair I bought while in Japan! I love them so much I'd really want them for Taizo but they're all sold out on DollHeart... Oh, and DECENT looking SD goggles and fingerless leather gloves... 20. If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry her? (eg. SD violin case, backpack,etc) I usually just carry them, unless its a mass transport.
